Adele Hacked: Singer’s Personal Photos Shared Online By Obsessed Fan

Adele is the latest celebrity to become a victim of online hacking.

The singer, 27, is believed to be “angry” and “upset,” reports The Sun on Sunday, after learning that a crazed fan stole and posted private photos — including an ultrasound image taken when she was five months pregnant with son Angelo, now 3 — on an Adele super-fan Facebook page.

The images are believed to have been accessed through her boyfriend Simon Konecki’s email, reports the newspaper, which says it alerted the singer’s management to the breach on March 18.

The images circulated on the Facebook fan page show Adele’s then-newborn son wrapped in blanket, pictures of a pregnant Adele in her kitchen, a childhood photo of the singer sticking out her tongue, and even a pic of her lying in bed with a cigarette and bottle of champagne, reports the newspaper.

A worried fan also contacted the notoriously private Adele’s management after the images appeared. “I was appalled and upset for Adele when I saw the pictures,” the concerned fan told The Sun on Sunday. “They are really private and should not be passed around.”

“I think it is disgusting that her so-called fans were sending them around and I thought it should be stopped. They are way too private, especially the scan and picture of her when she was pregnant,” the fan added. “If Adele wanted to share these pictures, I am sure she would. It would be up to her if she wants intimate pictures like this shown around the world.”

She’s been a bulldog about protecting her beloved son’s privacy: In 2014, she had her lawyers go after a photo agency that had captured images of her son at a playground and later accepted a five-figure settlement on his behalf. (Britain has different laws about taking photos of celebrity children in public places.)

She’s also been clear about her issues with fame and its dangers as she struggles to maintain a private life while cultivating professional success. “People think I hate being famous,” she told Rolling Stone in 2015, “and I don’t. I’m really frightened of it.”

News of the hack emerged on March 20, a few days after Adele announced that she will be headlining Britain’s annual Glastonbury festival in June.

She’s currently in the midst of a six-night residency at London’s famed O2 Arena, just one of many stops on her world tour.
