JOB TITLE: Counter Cyber Intelligence SME

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The candidate will build, lead, and execute counter cyber intelligence operations (CCI) including providing support for day-to-day operations, providing leadership to the CCI team, and support to the client with thought leadership. The candidate will provide counterintelligence analytical support regarding cyber threats and security utilizing their understanding of cyber intelligence to perform threat analysis, threat forecasts and threat alerts, and recommendations of countermeasures.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The candidate will develop, update and maintain instructional and policy materials regarding Collective Counter Cyberintelligence Operations (CCO) and Defensive Counter Cyberintelligence Operations (DCO).

The candidate will assist in developing the skill set of other analysts in the realm of Collective Counter Cyberintelligence Operations (CCO) and Defensive Counter Cyberintelligence Operations (DCO).

The candidate will analyze network intrusions, vulnerabilities, and threat reporting to discern items of CCI interest, and related trends and indicators.

The candidate will conduct a variety of analytic activities and data queries systems, including reviewing sensitive electronic and hard copy operation and intelligence community reports, collaborating with internal and external entities, preparing counterintelligence analytic products, and summarizing documents and graphics representations of data.

EXPERIENCE:

Previous experience should include some of the following: supervising and conducting counterintelligence surveys, inquiries, and investigations to detect, identify, assess, counter, exploit and neutralize adversarial, foreign intelligence entity and terrorist threats to national security.

The Counter Cyberintelligence Subject Matter Expert position requires a bachelor’s degree in Computer Forensics, Information Security, Network Engineering or Criminal Justice (or similar)or the equivalent, and five to eight years of related experience. Applicants with a master’s degree and three to five years of related experience also qualify.

The candidate will have a firm understanding of digital forensics, networking and cyber incident response.

The candidate will possess a familiarity with and ability to use forensic tools such as Wireshark, Fidelis, EnCase, FTK or other similar forensic tools.
