Hackers of wannacry cashed out

Everybody in the cyber world is aware of the infamous WannaCry ransomware attack that occured not too long ago. More then 150 countries were affected including hospitals businesses and telecom providers who were asked to pay between 300-600 dollars for the decryption keys. The group behind this chaos have finally cashed out their ransoms after not touching their wallets for about three month. $140,000 worth in bitcoins was made by receiving payments from victims who decided to pay for the decryption keys.

According to a twitter bot, 338 victims payed a $300 amount and the cryptocurrencies began to cash out on Wednesday by the Hackers. The money was withdrawn though 7 payments within 15 minutes although we do not know where the money is being sent. On top of that, the identity behind WannaCry still remains ambiguous with fingers being pointed in different directions such as North Korea and China. Law enforcements across the world are still on the hunt although systems have come up again.
