CYBER DEFENCE SUMMIT UAE
Critical sectors in the UAE – including but not limited to finance and energy – have increased their dependency on technology and state-of-the-art ICT solutions to deliver high-quality, efficient, and effective services. In 2017, the financial cost of cybercrime totalled $1.4 billion, an increase of 4.9%.
In 2017, Naseba’s Cyber Defence Summit was endorsed by the Dubai Municipality. The summit addresses the importance of protecting critical infrastructure and sensitive information, helps companies procure cyber security solutions and services, and creates further awareness of cyber security among the youth of the UAE.
Over 120 CIOs, CISOs and Heads of IT and Security will participate on a private and complimentary basis. Primarily representing organisations with critical infrastructure and sensitive information, they will discuss current and future challenges along with associated solutions, benchmark standards and strategies with peers, and procure solutions for their ongoing and upcoming projects.
